Radfan Extra Low Powered Radiator Booster is designed to be used all year around.

All the benefits of the Radfan Classic Medium model for winter use, plus…… 

Additional feature of providing air circulation during warm summer days or nights, when the air is still/sticky.

Onboard rocker switch (discreetly positioned) enables the Radfan user to switch the appliance to summer mode, when the fans will be constantly on (can still be switched on/off at the wall socket).

After a few minutes the 4 fans set up a pleasant background air circulation in the room, drawing up cooler air from the floor level, over your metal (water filled) radiator panels) and pushing this out at radiator top height, usually waist height, and into the room.

Very low power fans (total of 4 fans at 0.6 Watts each) mean that a Radfan Extra currently costs 1 pence per day in total to run (24 hours) continuously, based on current average electrical energy domestic tariff of 17p per KiloWatt.

To use the Radfan Winter Mode flick the rocker switch  and  the radfan will start working in Winter Mode with it's automatic thermostatic will switch itself on, the fans inside will then start directing the heat to the centre of the room.
With a conventional central heating system, radiator heat from the radiator rises and eventually warms up the room.
With the Radfan the heat is being directed to the centre of the room so it heats up quicker.
The Radfan is designed to suck up any heat from the radiator which would usually be wasted through the ceiling or back walls and circulates it evenly across the room, this eliminates any cold spots and keeps the room consistently warm.
The circulated warmth generated by the Radfan makes your room keep warm for longer and warms up quicker, allowing you turn down the temperature without any noticeable change in temperature.
Radfan automatically detects when your heating system is hot using a thermostatic switch, this allows the Radfan to only turn on when the radiator is hot and when it is needed to circulate air.

When the central heating system is turned off and starts cooling down, the Radfan will turn off too preventing any energy from being wasted.
